The 135 workers at the Stella d’Oro cookie factory in the Bronx have been on strike since August 13, 2008. The company is demanding:
-wages slashed by 25%
-impose crushing premiums on health insurance
-eliminate holidays, vacations, sick days and current pension
-eliminate extra pay for working Saturdays
